Korchmar Leather Specialty is a 4th generation family owned business. Schlesinger is also one of their brands. They manufacturer their products in the United States and the Dominican Republic. They have a five year limited warranty on many of their quality leather products. Within the five year period, they will repair or replace manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover misuse or accident. It does not cover accidental damages or normal wear and tear. It does not cover common carrier damage by an airline, cruiseline, etc. You should make a claim with the carrier immediately for this type of damage. Their warranty does not cover cosmetic damage. They may be able to make repairs not covered by this warranty for a nominal charge. The warranty process usually takes 6-8 weeks. You will be responsible for shipping costs.
